  2. My favorite book as a child was Ferdinand. My daughter is now four and I'm trying to get her into reading by reading a story to her every night. She isn't a big fan of Ferdinand but more of a Strawberry Shortcake girl. I'm just glad that she likes books at all.

Then I liked the Ramona series when I got older and Judy Bloom books. Also lies To Kill a Mockingbird and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn when I was a teenager.

  12. I, too, was a fan of The Monster at the End of This Book. We read it here quite often and we love the app for iPhone & iPad. It's awesome to see Grover come to life and I love how it stayed true to the original artwork and story.
